Tour duration: 2-3 hours with 30 minutes of time spent on a whale pod
Tour begins: 1 hour after first tender arrives at the pier
Tour ends: At the pier at least 30 min before the last tender of the day.
This Whale Watching Expedition is truly an experience of a lifetime.
Each winter the humpback whales make the journey from the North Atlantic to the Samana Bay to give birth to their calves. Enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains that surround the Samana Bay. Pass by the famous crystal blue waters of Cayo Levantado island (sometimes called Bacardi Island). We do recommend sun screen, sun glasses and a hat as you will be in the sun most of the time. Note: You may get wet, so dress appropriately and bring a towel. Ride may be rough at times and we recommend you take sea sickness medication. Open-air powerboat is used.
This tour no longer includes lunch, drinks or beach.
